Halifax Robert L. Stanfield International Airport is the gateway to Nova Scotia by air. Direct flights to Halifax from the US are available in major cities on the Eastern Seaboard, including the following airports:

Halifax Robert L.Stanfield International Airport is found on Highway 102. The Bay of Fundy is directly northwest of the Airport. Main routes to the bay include traveling north on highway 102 to Truro, and traveling south on highway 102, exiting to and following highway 101.

The airport now offers pre-clearance to passengers booked on a direct flight to the US. Passengers may go through US customs and border protection prior to their departure. This will save time for passengers when they land.
