Day 1

Hopewell Rocks/Joggins Fossil Cliffs

Before beginning your Nova Scotia adventure visit neighboring province New Brunswick's most famous geological feature shaped by the Fundy Tides at Hopewell Rocks.

Next, move on to the Joggins Fossil Cliffs and Centre and learn why it's one of the most significant fossil sites in the world!

Day 2

Fundy Geological Museum/Cape d'Or Lighthouse/Age of Sail Centre/Five Islands

View one of the most stunning lighthouses in Atlantic Canada at Cape d'Or. Discover an ancient world and see some of the oldest dinosaur bones in Canada with the Fundy Geological Museum, and explore the mineral treasures of Nova Scotia.

Visit the Age of Sail Heritage Centre to experience the rich heritage of the Minas Basin timber and shipbuilding industries before moving on to Five Islands - one of the most stunning locations along the Bay of Fundy and subject of one of many Aboriginal legends.

Visit Joy Laking's Studio. For over thirty years local artist Joy Laking has painted Nova Scotia and captured her view of the world on watercolour paper.

Day 3

Glooscap Heritage Centre/Tidal Bore Rafting/Burncoat Head

Gaze at the 40-foot statue of Glooscap - an important cultural figure of the Mi'kmaq. The Mi'Kmaq are the Aboriginal group of Nova Scotia and the Glooscap Heritage Centre is dedicated to sharing and celebrating their culture and heritage.

Experience one-of-a kind adventure and a thrill of a lifetime Tidal Bore River Rafting! The rapids on the Shubencadie River are generated by the incredible Fundy tides and create a safe and exhilarating experience aboard professionally guided motorized rafts (no paddling necessary).

Visit Burncoat Head, site of the highest recorded tide in the world!

Day 4

Grand Pre/Gaspereau Vineyards/Blomidon Park/Halls Harbour

Visit Grand Pre National Historic site to learn the story of the

Acadian Expulsion. French Acadians were early settlers of Nova Scotia and are where the "Cajuns" of New Orleans originate.

Stop at Gaspereau Vineyards, a boutique winery showcasing one of Nova Scotia's prettiest vineyards. Move on to the majestic Blomidon Provincial Park before stopping at one of the quaintest fishing villages along the Bay in Halls Harbour.

Day 5

Whales in the Bay of Fundy

Experience an incredible whale watching and birding adventure and learn about the Bay's variety of gentle giants. Look for right whales, humpbacks, minkes, and pilot whales, as well as seals and various species of sea birds. End the day with a Candlelight graveyard tour in Annapolis Royal - one of the oldest graveyards in North America!

Day 6

Tidal Power Station/Historic Gardens

Enjoy a guided visit to the only tidal power generating station in North America.

Visit Annapolis Royal Historic Gardens where 4 ha (10 acres) of theme gardens and displays reflect the history of the area.

Continue you on to NovaScotia's capital city Halifax to complete your journey.
